The Enemy of Success....

Let me share with you’re the procrastinators creed written by Ed Foreman.

Procrastinator Creed

“Someday when I grow up, finish school and get a job, I’ll start living my life the way I want… someday after the mortgage is paid off, the finances are on track and the kids are grown up, I’ll drive that new car and take exciting trips abroad… someday, now that I’m about to retire, I’ll buy that beautiful motor home and travel across this great country, and see all there is to see… someday.”

-Ed Foreman

Our life is wasted by the someday thoughts. Why not take action today, and start achieving those goals instead of whishing and hoping, those two words are excuses for not doing.

Many people lives wanting things, they keep saying to themselves. When I retire, I’m going to be more relax, when I paid my mortgage I will have more money to save, when I become financially independent, I’m going to start living my dream life.

The biggest mistake here is expecting to have things, in order to be more relax, living your dream life, saving more money. Why not do it now?

I will tell you why? You might not like it, but the truth is that you get comfortable with conformity. As long as you have enough, you think you are ok, and without doing anything, you expect things to take care of it’s own.

Sorry to tell you that is not true. If YOU don’t take action, no one will do it for you, and not a single thing will improve for much you hope or wish for.

Change starts with you.

If you want to stop smoking, you have to be willing to change and most of all recognize you have a smoking problem. The same goes for drinking and procrastination.

If you really want to become successful, you have to recognize that you have a procrastination problem, and be willing to change.

Do you feel like you are going NOWHERE?

Sometimes as we go through live, we feel that there’s a sign on our backs that says “I don't mind if you kick me” and it seems that everybody has.

When we get to this state, usually what we do is beat ourselves.

My question to you is, why?

What should we do in the situation? We can just simply quit, and never achieve our goals and dreams. Become the losers of society, if you don’t make a change, your life will be like these forever. Is that what you’re really want?

We need to be responsible for our actions, we need to keep going, we need to face the fire, we will make it through, all we need to do is keep on keeping on.

Many people does not succeed because they keep blaming others for their failures, they don’t know how to take action.

It is always easier to point fingers, and talk bad about other people, but in reality we need to check ourselves first.

How do we do that?

One way to do this and the most effective way ever known by successful people is through their personal growth.

I don’t want you to believe a word I say.

You might say “Well what’s the point of reading these then,” well the reason I say this is because I’m going to share with you what has worked for me, my experiences, you can try them out for yourself or you can just leave them alone. First give the opportunity to yourself and try it out.

Personal development is just simply the study of one’s self. Before you can understand your problems, before you can understand other people, before you can understand what’s going on in life, before you can become successful, first you need to understand YOURSELF.

If you don’t understand yourself how do you expect to understand your spouse, your brothers, your sisters, your parents, your neighbor, your coworkers, etc.

Most of all, would like to help other people but how are you going to help other people without helping yourself first. You need to help yourself first before you help somebody else, until you understand yourself, you will be able to help others.

I am here to provide you with the tools and knowledge to understand yourself, I will be giving you the ultimate secrets of personal development.

Goals Must Be Clearer than Water

Setting a goal is a process where you have to be clearer than water.

"Make more money" or "Being happier" are not clear desires.

Be clear on the amount of money you want, the type of business you want, how you will serve your clients, the specific actions that make you happy and so on.

See your dream as if it’s already yours, even though it has not materialized yet. The mind does not know the difference between imagination and reality and if you imagine your dream as already accomplished, your mind, feelings and emotions will experience it that way and it will make you think, say and do things that will allow you to achieve it.

You have to feel how good it feels to accomplish your dream?

Imagine yourself earning the money you desire, owning and running a successful business, seeing how your product or service helps customers, traveling, being healthy and happy, building relationships, etc. Generate the warm, powerful feelings that your dream triggers within you and feel it.

One thing is for sure, the path toward your dream will be filled with ups and downs. You will encounter disappointments and nay-Sayers along the way.

The good thing is that these are all opportunities to clarify and enhance your dream.

Emerson said, "These are occasions a good learner would not miss".

Use these moments as lessons and indicators that will help you booster your dream even more.

Dreams require daily cultivation.

Make contact with those who can help support your dream.

Make the call, take the action and follow through every day.
In addition, allow others to support you on your journey. As you envision and see your dream accomplished you will draw the people and situations to you who can support it.

Stay Positive, Stay Sharp, Stay Strong.

Do you want to be Successful?

I’m very serious about this, because if you are, I’m committed

200% percent to your Success.

I don’t care what background, circumstances, or environment you

may have come, it's essential for you to learn how to grow

yourself. I have great respect for those who achieve great success,

when they had nothing before.

Some individuals are born on dirt floors, having to wallow in

poverty, surrounded by crime, gangs, drugs, and worse.

What makes people overcome these situations?

I believe it's because they have recognize the enemies of their

success.

They know that physical poverty hurts, but they also realize

that poverty of the spirit is a greater problem than just being

poor in money and in resources.

Procrastination, negative people and negative thoughts, are the

greatest enemies of progress. They produce inaction, reluctance,

and cause one to retreat.

To grow and develop, you must know you can; and then, you must

take action. Self-awareness, personal growth, and education lead

to success.

Also, successful people believe in themselves.

Why should you believe in yourself?

To become a success, you have to begin with the idea that it is

possible to do and that you can do it.

Belief is a powerful motivator.

Successful people have figured out that problems and challenges

come with the territory,

Those who rise up and become successes in life view challenges

merely as inconveniences and not as problems.

Successful people know that no challenge is permanent, and they

act as if obstacles don't even exist. They set goals and move

ahead. They go under, over, around, and through. They focus on

solutions.

What are you going to focus on?

Growth is what life is about. On one hand it comes naturally; on

the other hand it comes by exerting some effort.

Successful people realize that all of the elements and tools

necessary to grow and develop are available.

Developing your mind and body comes as the result of being

curious, wanting to learn, and directing your energy.

Overcoming Resistance to Change.

Most people cling desperately to the past. They hang on to what’s familiar, snuggling ever deeper into their comfortable routines to avoid the frightening thought of change.

Change always means giving up something, and the greater the personal sacrifice the more you feel like dragging your feet.

People also defend the old way of doing things, because that makes them feel more in control. They battle against change out of fear of the future, not because they love their past.

You don’t have to feel that change is bad. Successful people understand that without change, there is no gain.

That’s INSANITY.

The definition of insanity as quoted by one of the greatest minds this world had ever seen, Albert Einstein says:

“Insanity is doing the same thing over and over, expecting a different result.”

What is the thing keeping you from change? Could it be fear to the uncertain?

There will be no great change without stretch, and there will be no stretch without change.

The bottom line is this,

Resisting change does more harm than good.

If you really want more in your life, whatever might be, perhaps more family time, or more free time, or more money, etc.

You have to start making changes to your life RIGHT NOW!!!

Remember

“If you keep doing what you have been doing, you will keep getting what you had been getting.”

How exciting is that?

Are you completely satisfied with your current life right now, with the freedom you have, with the money you make, with the last 5 years of your life?

If you don’t make a change, don’t you think the next five years of your life will be the same?

Is that what you really want?

Today, right now you are going to make a very important decision.

You can decide to make a change, and start taking control of your life, of your finances, and your freedom.

Or

You can close this message right now, move on with your life and pretend that nothing happened.

You are going to choose RIGHT NOW!!

What is it that you want?

Jorge Fernandez de Cordova
